Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of Shuanghuanglian injection and Sanhuang capsule on the inflammation, the gastrointestinal transmit, and the postoperative adhesion. MethodsThe increased vascular permeability induced by acetic acid model in mice, the granuloma formation in subchronic inflammatory model in rats, the gastrointestinal transmit in intestinal paralysis mice, and the postoperative adhesion in rat model were observed. ResultsThe findings showed that Sanhuang capsule could accelerate the gastrointestinal transmit. Both Shuanghuanglian injection and Sanhuang capsule could inhibit acute inflammation and the granuloma formation. Co-administration of Shuanghuanglian injection and Sanhuang capsule could attenuate the postoperative adhesion.ConclusionIt suggests that co-administration of Shuanghuanglian injection and Sanhuang can attenuate the postoperative adhesion by inhibiting inflammation, promoting gastrointestinal transmit.
