Determination of Two Components in Compound Candesartan Cilexetil Tablets by High Performance Liquid Chromatography
Abstract:ObjectiveTo establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous assaying of candeasrtan cilexetil and hydrochlorothiazide in compound candesartan cilexetil tablets.MethodsThe chromatographic column was Nucleosil C18with room temperature.The mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile-water(40∶60,pH was adjusted to 4.0 with phosphoric acid)with detection wavelength at 210 nm and flow rate was 1 ml/min.ResultsGood linear relationship was achieved when the concentration ranges of candesartan cilexetil and hydrochlorothiazide were withim 1~16,1.25~20 μg/ml,respectively,the recovery rates were 100.02% and 100.12% respectively.ConclusionThe method is convenient,fast,reproducible and with high recovery rates,which can be used to determine the two constituents simultaneously of compound candesartan cilexetil tablet and control its quality.
